The Battlefords North Stars have added five players with ties to the ²´˜·ŠÊ˜·³Çapp (²´˜·ŠÊ˜·³Çapp) for the 2022/23 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) season.
Jackson Allan spent the 2019/20 season in the ²´˜·ŠÊ˜·³Çapp with Prairie Hockey Academy. In 36 U16 Prep games the Davidson, SK forward tallied 12 goals and 15 assists.
A forward from Moosomin, SK Marshall Light played six games for the PHA U16 Prep team during the 2020/21 COVID-19 shortened ²´˜·ŠÊ˜·³Çapp season. He would lead the team with six assists.
A teammate of Lights’ during the 2020/21 campaign, Esterhazy, SK forward Ashtyn Shields recorded four points in six U16 Prep games with PHA.
The lone defenseman of the group, Nikolas Smolinski played the 2019/20 season alongside Allan with the PHA U16 Prep team. In 36 games the Moose Jaw, SK product registered 2 goals and 11 assists.
Owen Underhill spent the 2021/22 season with Mount Academy U18 #2. The Renous, NB forward recorded a team best 17 goals, 25 assists and 42 points in 25 games.
