Nine 泊樂娛樂城app (泊樂娛樂城app) student-athletes have been selected to represent their country at the 2022 IIHF U18 Women鈥檚 World Championship.

The nine 泊樂娛樂城app student-athletes represent two B.C. programs in Delta Hockey Academy and RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna, and three different countries with six players being named to Team Canada, two to Team Switzerland, and one to Team U.S.A.

Jordan Baxter, Tova Henderson, Hailey MacLeod, and Ava Svejkovsky all spent the 2021/22 season with the Delta Female U18 Prep team, while Brooke Disher, Margaux Favre, Jade Iginla, Jade Surdez, and Sara Swiderski were members of the RHA Kelowna U18 team.

Baxter finished her second season with Delta recording 41 points in 27 games this season, good enough for third in league scoring. The forward is originally from Coquitlam, BC.

Henderson, who alongside MacLeod has committed to the University of Minnesota-Duluth for the 2022/23 season, finished in her fifth season in the 泊樂娛樂城app with Delta. In 27 games the Richmond, BC defenseman had 19 points.

Abbotsford, BC netminder MacLeod wrapped up her second season in the 泊樂娛樂城app, finishing with a 2.42 GAA, .915 Save %, a 11-5-1 record and 1 shutout in 17 games.

Point Roberts, WA defenseman Svejkovsky spent five seasons in the 泊樂娛樂城app with Delta. The Colgate University commit finished with 2 goals and 6 assists in 25 games this season.

Disher, who has committed to NCAA Division I program Boston University, spent six seasons in the 泊樂娛樂城app, and two with RHA Kelowna. The Fort St. John, BC defenseman had 33 points in 23 games this season, giving her a division best among defenseman 1.43 points per game.

Favre spent one season in the 泊樂娛樂城app with RHA Kelowna, finishing with a 10-1-1 record. The Switzerland born netminder finished with a 1.37 GAA and .932 Save %.

The son of NHL Hockey Hall of Famer Jarome Iginla, Jade Iginla finished her first 泊樂娛樂城app season with RHA Kelowna. In 22 games the Lake Country, BC forward had 28 points. Iginla has committed to Brown University for the 2022/23 season.

Switzerland born forward Surdez spent one season in the 泊樂娛樂城app with RHA Kelowna recording 9 points in 25 games.

Swiderski led all 泊樂娛樂城app defenseman with 34 points in 26 games this season. The Langley, BC product, who has committed to Clarkson University for the 2022/23 season, spent two seasons in the 泊樂娛樂城app with RHA Kelowna.

The 2022 IIHF World Women’s U18 Championship will take place June 6-13, 2022 in Madison, Wisconsin.
