The 泊樂娛樂城app (泊樂娛樂城app) today announced the four recipients of the inaugural 泊樂娛樂城app Post-Secondary Scholarship鈥檚.

Meadow Carman, Carson McConnell, Sydney Neustaeter and Carl Swanson have each been awarded $1,000 towards their post-secondary education.

The 泊樂娛樂城app would like to recognize student athletes who develop their life skills while concentrating on their hockey development. Scholarships were awarded based on academic excellence, character, citizenship and sportsmanship all while developing their hockey skills.

Carman, 18, attended the Pursuit of Excellence from 2017-2019, playing both seasons on their Female Prep team. She was awarded the 2019 泊樂娛樂城app Female Humanitarian of the Year award for her commitment off the ice and in the community and was also named to the 2018 泊樂娛樂城app Female Prep All-Academic team.

The Barton, N.S. product will attend the University of Toronto this fall, with aspirations to transfer to Brown University in 2020. She plans on studying Kinesiology before moving into Sports Medicine.

McConnell, 18, attended the Pilot Mound Hockey Academy from 2016-2018, playing both seasons with their Midget Varsity team. He currently plays for the Manitoba Junior Hockey League鈥檚 Winkler Flyers, while also taking courses at Red River College.

The Pilot Mound, Man. product was a nominee for the 2018 泊樂娛樂城app Humanitarian of the Year award, was the 2017 泊樂娛樂城app Midget Varsity WHL Scholastic Player of the Year and named to the 泊樂娛樂城app Midget Varsity All-Academic team in 2017 and 2018.

Neustaeter, 18, attended the Pursuit of Excellence from 2017-2019, playing both seasons on their Female Prep team. She graduated this past June from George Elliot High School with an academic average of 96 over her past three years.

The Lake Country, B.C. product will attend the University of British Columbia beginning this fall in their Faculty of Kinesiology.

Swanson, 17, attended Shawnigan Lake School from 2016-2019, spending all three seasons on their Midget Varsity team. He was named the 2018 泊樂娛樂城app Midget Varsity WHL Scholastic Player of the Year.

The Victoria, B.C. product is planning on attending McGill University in the fall, where he will study English Literature. He aspires to move on to law school and eventually become a judge.
