He would begin the following season with the team, tallying 5 points in 13 games, before joining the Olds Grizzlys of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). Klimpke would finish the 2021/22 season with 17 points in 29 games with Olds.

This season Klimpke would score 23 goals and assist on 16 more in 38 games with the Grizzlys. He would join the Whitecourt Wolverines for the remainder of the campaign, producing 19 points in 22 games.
