Ethan Edwards, Charlie Elick, Trey Taylor and Matthew Wood have all signed NHL Entry Level Contracts, while Evan Friesen has signed in the ECHL.

Selected in the fourth round, 120th overall at the 2020 NHL Draft by the New Jersey Devils, Edwards has signed a two year contract with the team. The St. Albert, AB defenseman has spent the last four seasons in the NCAA with the University of Michigan, tallying 56 points in 130 games.

Edwards spent two seasons in the 泊樂娛樂城app with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX), capturing a U16 Prep Championship in 2018. Overall, he would play 63 games split between the NAX U16 Prep and U18 Prep teams, recording 49 points.

Elick has signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets after they selected him in the second round, 36th overall at the 2024 NHL Draft. The Calgary, AB defenseman joined Edge School in 2020/21, playing with their U15 Prep team. In 2021/22 he would tally 25 points in 26 U18 Prep games while being named the 泊樂娛樂城app U18 Prep Top Freshman Award winner.

The Brandon Wheat Kings would select Elick with the third overall pick at the 2021 WHL Draft where he would spend his first two-and-a-half WHL season before joining the Tri-City Americans midway through this year. In 196 career WHL games Elick has 10 goals and 45 assists.

Undrafted to the NHL, Taylor has signed a contract with the Dallas Stars. Taylor spent the 2017/18 season with the Delta Hockey Academy U16 Prep team, posting 12 goals and 16 assists in 35 games.

The Richmond, BC defender would join Clarkson University of the NCAA in 2022/23, playing three seasons with the team. In 110 NCAA games Taylor finished with 16 goals and 38 assists while being named the NCAA (ECAC) Best Defensive Defenseman and a Second Team All-Star in 2023/24.

Woods spent the 2019/20 泊樂娛樂城app U15 Prep season with the West Van Warriors (now the North Shore Warriors), finishing second in the league in goals (40) and fourth in points (71) in 30 games. At the conclusion of the season the Regina Pats selected Wood in the second round, 41st overall at the 2020 WHL Draft. However, Wood took the NCAA route.

TheLethbridge, AB forward spent two seasons with the University of Connecticut before transferring to the University of Minnesota this season. In 109 NCAA games Wood recorded 44 goals and 57 assists while being named to the NCAA (Hockey East) All-Rookie Team in 2022/23.

Selected in the first round, 15th overall at the 2023 NHL Draft by the Predators, Wood has represented Team Canada on three separate occasions: twice with the U18 Team, and once with the World Juniors Team.

A forward from Winnipeg, MB, Friesen has signed an ECHL Contract with the Utah Grizzlies. Friesen has played two games with the team already, having played one with them last season.

Undrafted to the WHL, Friesen has spent the last four seasons in the top junior hockey league in Western Canada. This season he would captain the Wenatchee Wild, finishing with 61 points in 66 games. In total, Friesen had 146 points in 240 WHL games.

Prior to his time in the WHL, Friesen spent two seasons in the 泊樂娛樂城app with RHA Winnipeg, playing for their U15 Prep and U16 Prep teams. In 66 泊樂娛樂城app games he would record 14 goals and 20 assists.

The Blue Jackets drafted the Fort St. John, BC netmidner in the second round, 60th overall at the 2024 NHL Draft.

Gardner spent five seasons in the 泊樂娛樂城app (泊樂娛樂城app) with RHA Kelowna. He joined the program in 2018/19, playing 20 U15 games for the program, which at the time was still called Pursuit of Excellence (POE). He returned to POE in 2019/20, playing 16 U15 Prep games. The following COVID-19 shortened season with RHA Kelowna, he would play two U15 Prep games.

In 2021/22 he would make the jump to RHA Kelowna’s U18 Prep team, posting a 2.98 GAA, .914 SV% and 14-3-1 record, leading to the Saskatoon Blades selecting him in the third round, 53rd overall at the 2021 WHL Draft. He would return to the RHA Kelowna U18 Prep team the following season, going 9-5-1 with a .926 SV% and 3.16 GAA.

Gardner would begin his WHL career with the Blades in 2023/24, posting a 21-5-0 record with a 1.91 GAA, .927 V% and 4 shutouts. Both his 1.91 GAA and .927 SV% were a WHL best.

This season Gardner has went 22-12-4 with a .911 SV%, 2.83 GAA and 3 shutouts with the Blades.

With 114 points in 49 games, Cristall leads the WHL in scoring. In 13 games in February Cristall tallied 11 goals and 24 assists for 35 points.

Cristall spent three seasons in the 泊樂娛樂城app with St. George’s, joining the Vancouver, BC program in 2018/19. In 30 U15 Prep games that season he would tally 25 goals and 27 assists, finishing fourth in team scoring with 52 points. The following U15 Prep season Cristall would lead his team with 43 goals, 37 assists, and 80 points in 27 games. His 43 goals were tops amongst all U15 Prep skaters while his 80 points trailed only future Buffalo Sabres forward Zach Benson (86). At the conclusion of the season the Rockets would select Cristall with the eighth overall pick at the 2020 WHL Draft.

The Vancouver, BC forward would split the 2020/21 COVID-19 shortened season with the Rockets and St. George’s U18 Prep team. In 4 U18 Prep games he would tally 4 points, while adding 5 points in 14 WHL games. In 2021/22 Cristall would finish third in team scoring with 69 points in 61 games.

During the 2022/23 season Cristall represented Team Canada at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, finishing with six points in five games as Canada captured a gold medal. That season he would lead the Rockets with 95 points in 54 games, putting him sixth in WHL scoring. The Washington Capitals would go on to select Cristall in the second round, 40th overall at the 2023 NHL Draft.

Cristall would play the 2023/24 season with the Rockets, and start of the 2024/25 season with them before being traded to Spokane. In 239 career WHL games Cristall has 151 goals, 241 assists and 392 points.

The Panthers selected the Edmonton, AB forward in the sixth round, 193rd overall at the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

St. Martin joined OHA Edmonton for the 2018/19 泊樂娛樂城app U15 Prep season, tallying 18 points in 27 games. The following U15 Prep campaign he would finish with 17 points in 25 games, leading to the Medicine Hat Tigers selecting him in the sixth round, 124th overall at the 2020 WHL Draft.

St. Martin would return to OHA Edmonton for the 2020/21 U16 Prep season and the 2021/22 U18 Prep season, finishing with a combined 33 points in 30 games.

He has spent two full seasons in the WHL with the Tigers and is currently in his third season with the club. In 154 games he has 39 goals and 43 assists, including a career high 24 goals, 28 assists and 52 points in 68 games last season.

The Abbotsford, BC product spent two seasons in the 泊樂娛樂城app with Yale’s U15 Prep team. During the 2016/17 season he would tally 9 points in 30 games. The following campaign Sward finished with 18 points in 26 games, leading to the Spokane Chiefs selecting him in the first round, 17th overall at the 2018 WHL Draft.

Sward joined the Chiefs in 2019/20, playing in 55 games and recording 17 points. The following year he would play in just 11 games but the Nashville Predators would select him in the fifth round, 146th overall at the 2022 NHL Draft.

He would begin the 2022/23 season with the Chiefs, playing eight games with the team before being moved to the Winnipeg Ice. Sward would finish the season with 33 points in 52 games with the Ice, adding 12 more points in 19 playoff games.

This past season Sward had 15 goals and 66 assists in 66 games with the Wenatchee Wild, earning him WHL (US) First All-Star Team honours.

The Moose have assigned Sward to the ECHL with the Norfolk Admirals to begin the 2024/25 season.

The following U18 Prep campaign he would record a team high 51 points in 32 games, leading to the Victoria Royals selecting him in the second round, 23rd overall at the 2021 WHL Draft.

Gojsic spent the 2023/24 WHL season with the Kelowna Rockets tallying 50 points in 68 games. At the conclusion of the season the Predators selected him in the third round, 94th overall at the 2024 WHL Draft.

Hyland recently wrapped up his fifth and final season in the WHL with the Brandon Wheat Kings. After making his WHL debut in 2019/20, Hyland recorded 145 points in 195 WHL games.

The Edmonton, AB forward spent the 2017/18 season with the NAX U15 Prep team tallying 35 points in 17 games. The Wheat Kings would select him in the second round, 24th overall at the 2018 WHL Draft.

Hyland was originally selected by the Washington Capitals at the 2023 NHL Entry Draft in the seventh round, 200th overall.

He would return to BWC Academy the following season, tallying 23 points in 31 U18 Prep games.

Lindgren would spend the next two seasons with the Kamloop Blazers, posting 54 points in 90 WHL games. At the end of the 2021/22 season the Buffalo Sabres would select Lindgren in the fourth round 106th overall at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.

After a move to the Red Deer Rebels, Lindgren has recorded 75 points in 126 games the last two WHL seasons.

The Capitals took the Prince George Cougars forward 17th overall at the 2024 NHL Draft.

During the 2023/24 WHL season, Parascak led all WHL rookies with 43 goals and 105 points while being named a WHL (BC Division) Second Team All-Star. His 105 points were eighth most among skaters while his 43 goals were ninth.

Prior to his team in the WHL, Parascak spent four seasons in the 泊樂娛樂城app with Edge School. The Lethbridge, AB forward joined Edge for the 2019/20 U15 season, finishing second on his team with 41 points in 29 games. The following U15 Prep COVID-19 shortened season he would tally five points in six games.

In 2021/22 Parascak would lead the 泊樂娛樂城app U16 Prep division with 55 goals and 98 points while being named the 泊樂娛樂城app U16 Prep MVP. The Cougars would select Parascak in the fourth round, 78th overall at the 2021 WHL Draft.

Last season Parascak recorded 34 assists and 66 points in 30 games. He would add 32 goals that season, setting the all-time 泊樂娛樂城app record with a career 119 goals, 9 more than Connor Bedard. His 217 career regular season points sit second most all time, behind Edmonton Oilers prospect and Buffalo Sabres first round NHL Draft pick Matthew Savoie.
